Law firm operations support

Stop being the next step for everything.

When routine decisions keep coming back, there is less time for the work only you can do. Help your manager give the team decisions it can own.

01 / The work

What still needs your approval?

For a week, note the routine questions that reach your desk, who asks and why they cannot decide. Look for missing instructions or unclear responsibility.

Choose one repeated task. Name the result, the person responsible and the deadline. Set out which exceptions still need you or an attorney.

02 / The work

Make one process easier to run.

We improve one process at a time and help your manager check how it works. Your plan names the work we put in place and the decisions your firm keeps.

Start with instructions staff can use during the task: a checklist, a CRM stage and a named person for the next step. Test them with the team before expanding.

03 / The work

Review the work at a set time.

Your manager checks overdue work, blocked tasks, exceptions and decisions needed this week. Each action gets one owner and a date.

Check whether staff follow the process before adding reports. Agree who acts when a report shows a problem.

04 / The work

Who runs the daily work?

Your manager does. We help improve processes; our starting service does not include daily management, a fractional COO or attorney supervision.

If you need a daily manager, define that role separately. Your proposal explains how we work with them and what we help put in place.

Before we start

A few useful answers.

Do we need new software?

We check your current tools first. Add software only when it supports the way you agree to work.

Does this replace our office manager?

No. We help with processes and management routines. Your firm still needs someone to manage staff and daily work.

How do we know the changes help?

Record overdue tasks, repeat questions, completion time or owner approvals before starting. Check the same measures afterward and ask staff what changed.

Your next step
